Granada announce the signing of Ghana U23 defender Kingsley Fobi

Granada has reached an agreement with Watford FC for the transfer of Kingsley Fobi, who joins the team until June 2022 with the option of one more season.

Fobi occupies the position of right back. Last season he was on loan to CD Badajoz, a team in group IV of Second Division B. He played 11 games, scored two goals and gave an assist. He had very good performances in the Copa del Rey matches against Éibar, for whom he scored a goal, and against the first team of Granada CF.

Fobi began his career at the Right To Dream Academy in Ghana. In the last three seasons he has played in SD Formentera, CD Ibiza and Badajoz, all of them in Second Division B, with a balance of 58 games, three goals and one assist for a total of 3,701 minutes in the category.

The player has also been an U20 international for Ghana, with which he played the U20 World Cup in 2015.
