Wa: Dropped goalkeeper, Votere Dennis wishes Black Meteors best of luck ahead of Friday’s clash against Algeria

The Wa based goalkeeper for division one side, Wa Suntaa SC, Votere Dennis has wished his colleagues and technical team the very best of luck in their crucial encounter against Algeria in the 2019 Afcon U23 qualifier in Accra on Friday, September 6th

The Wa based young goalkeeper was part of coach Ibrahim Tanko’s squad in camp for the double header encounter against Algeria for the past three weeks but failed to make the final squad ahead of the clash at the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow

Despite not making the cut of the match, the young enterprising goalkeeper has expressed his joy and honour to have made it to the camp and has gone on to wish the playing body and technical good luck ahead of the encounter

In an exclusive interview with Ghana Football News, the goalkeeper said ” I will first of all thank Almighty God of his protection thus far in my journey in the game. Special thanks also goes to my technical handlers and playing team mates in my club, Wa Suntaa SC

” It has been of great experience for me to find myself among the lots selected for camping ahead of the qualifier. I have learnt alot in the three weeks stay with the team and technical members and hopefully it will be of benefit to me going forward in my career

On his exclusion from the final squad, he said ” I have taken it in good fate and hope to work more harder than before to get the chance again to represent the nation. It has been a dream of every young footballer to one day play in the nation team’s colour and I’m one of those such players and hopefully my time will come soon in the near future

The goalkeeper concluded by wishing the team the very best of luck come tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium

” Am taking this opportunity to wish the team the very best of luck on Friday and am optimistic of victory over Algeria”

Votere Dennis was dropped for Kotoko’s Kwame Baah and Hearts of Oak’s Richmond Ayi ahead of the qualifier
