England: Defender Daniel Amartey named in Foxes squad for the new premier league season

Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has been named in Leicester City’s 25 man squad for the season despite not featuring any part in the club’s premier league campaign this season

The defender was linked with a moce away from the King Power Stadium with championship side Fulham and premier league new boys Sheffield United among suitors for him as he seek more playing time

He suffered a career threatening injury last season in a match against West Ham United but has returned to training during the pre season period but has since not made a match day squad for Brendan Rodgers’ team this season

The inclusion in the 25 man squad is of a big relieve for the player who is seeking for a chance to return to active play having fully recovered from his lengthy spells on the sidelines
