Europe: English club Bristol Rovers set to honour former forward Manuel Junior Agogo

English lower tier side Bristol Rovers are set to honour the former Black stars attacker after he passed away on Thursday morning in London after failing his battle with stroke over the past few years

The club will pay tribute to the former Black stars forward starting this Saturday 24th August

The former attacker had his longest spell in his playing career at Bristol Rovers netting 41 times in 126 games for the lower tier side

The club plans to celebrate the former player through a montage on a big screen in their weekend fixture against Oxford United with a minute’s silence before kick off on Saturday

The club will continue with events to acknowledge the attacker in their match day programme for their carabao cup tie against premier league side Brighton on August 27

The final part of the tribute will be included in their fixture against fellow lower tier side Accrington Stanley on September 7

The former forward will forever be remembered for inspiring a famous come back for Bristol Rovers against Yeovil Town after going down 2-0 and came back into the game with 9 men
