CK Akonnor Warns Partey over a Potential Move to Arsenal

Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor, has sent a strong message to Thomas Partey over the latter’s potential move to Arsenal.

The midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League giants in the current transfer window after his stellar performance last season.

But Akonnor believes ditching Atletico Madrid for Arsenal would deny Partey the opportunity to play in the flagship Uefa Champions League.

The Ghana national team coach thinks and believes Arsenal will always struggle to make the top 4 in the EPL that will enable them to play in UCL.

“Honestly, I wouldn’t want him to move to Arsenal because with Atletico, he will always play Champions League football. His position is guaranteed and he will always play,”

“I hope that, and I’m sure money issues will come in, but I hope that whatever he asks for, Atletico will be able to pay,” he stated.

Akonnor’s remarks is just one of the many sentiments expressed by Ghanaians and football fans across the world.
