KOTOKO: Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Songne Yacouba Smoke Peace Pipe

Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Burkinabae import Songne Yacouba have settled to some degree the feud between the player and the club.

The goal poacher wanted to leave right after the Porcupine Warriors exploits in last season’s CAF Confederation Cup in which he was sensational and had attracted a lot of interests from giant clubs like Al Hilal, Orlando Pirates et al.

For whatever reason a ‘distraught Yacouba’ is back to the Kumasi based Club but not getting playing time as he has fallen down the pecking order.

Ghanafootballnews however can confirm that the player has met the management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and all issues surrounding his departure has been solved and a two year deal in the making for him to sign.

So don’t be surprised to see the name Songne Yacouba on the list of players who will feature in the game against arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the President’s Cup on Sunday and Etoile du Sahel in the CAF Champions League in a week’s time respectively.
