Somali Premier League Set For June 17th Return
With numerous football league across Europe and Africa ending prematurely due to the wide spread of novel coronavirus pandemic in the world, Somalia Football Association have announced their readiness to continue and comolete their season
Following the suspension of the league for over three months due to the deadly coronavirus outbreak, clubs in the Somali premier league were given greenlight to return to training last week as they prepare for the resumption of the football season
In consultation with the government, the Football Association and clubs on measures to ensure the safety return of football in the country, all parties involved have deemed it safe and positive for tge return to the field to complete the football season
Barely any unforeseen circumstances, the league is set to resume on June 17th as they aim to complete the season
Ghanaian quartet of Zakaria Issahaque, Wahidu Mumuni, Malik Akowuah, Ibrahim Issah and Abubakari Kashaf all ply their trade in the top-flight league in Somalia
Seven match day fixtures are left to complete the Somali Premier League and that’s what they are aiming to complete without any unsafe challenge
