D.C. United Acquire Mohammed Abu

MLS side D.C. United has signed Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abu as they beef up their squad for the on-going MLS regular season

The midfielder joined on loan from Norwegian top-flight side Valerenga Football Club with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the regular season

The former Manchester City midfielder has had stints with Stromsgodset IF in Norway, Rayo Vallecano in Spain, FC Lorient in France and in the MLS with Columbus Crew
