Road to Qatar 2022: Ghana join South Africa and two others in Group G of the draw

The road to Qatar 2022 Fifa World Cup took place in Egypt as the draw for the preliminary round of qualifiers was made

Forty countries qualified for the draw and were seeded in four groups of ten each and were later drawn into ten groups comprising of four nations each

The senior national team, Black Stars were drawn in Group G alongside South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia for the preliminary round of qualifiers

The top ten nations from each of the ten group will advance to the knock-out round of qualifiers which will be played in a double legged format with the top five nations advancing from the knock-out stage to book their place in Qatar 2022
