Elman SC wins Team of the Season at the Somali Football Awards Night

Somali top-flight side, Elman SC has won the best team of the season award at an award ceremony organised by the Somali Football Association last night

Elman SC won the accolade after finishing third in the league last season under the guidance of former Wa All Stars SC head coach Alhaji Abubakari Believer Mumuni

They were presented with a brand new car as part of their package for becoming the best team of last season

Instrumental forward Anwar Shakunda also won the Golden boot as well after finishing last season as top scorer in the top-flight league

Ghanaian duo Zakaria Issahaque and Wahidu Mumuni are key components of the set-up as they seek to move two places better than last season to clinch the trophy this season
