UEL: Forward Caleb Ekuban played full throttle as Trabzonspor reach the group stages

Last week hat-trick hero Caleb Ekuban was at his usual best of his side in the second leg of their Europa league qualifier against Greece club AEK Athens at home

Trabzonspor failed to capitalised on their impressive first leg performance in front of their home supporters as they lost 2-0

A goal each from Croatian forward Marko Livaja and Greece midfielder Petros Mantalos in the 24th and 30th minutes respectively sealed a comfortable victory for the away side but was not enough to see them through to the group stages of the competition

Despite losing on the night, Trabzonspor advanced on an away goal rule after a 3-3 aggregate from both legs of the match

The draw for the group stages is on Friday, August 30th
