Prosper Nartey Relinquish His Post as Head Coach of Karela United
Head coach of Ghana premier league side Karela United, Prosper Nartey has turned away from his post from the Anyinase based club after just two months at post.
The coach cum lecturer at the Cape Coast University, left the club following a board room wrangling with management.
Since the demise of club owner, David Brigidi, (whose presence wooed and kept players), the fortunes of the club has decreased to an all time low, considering the plethora of budding players departing from the club to seek greener pastures elsewhere.
Coach Nartey’s marriage with one of the emerging clubs in the country was doomed from the start as a result.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko virtually made Karela United their feeder club or to put better an Academy of a sort, after snatching the likes of Empem Dacosta, Ismail Abdul Ganiu, Maxwell Baakoh and Patrick Yeboah from the club.
