Black Meteors winger, Evans Mensah has joined Qatari top-flight side, Al Duhail Spørting Club from Finnish top-flight side HJK Helsinki on undisclosed fee

The former Inter Allies winger has penned a four-and-a-half year deal with the Qatari outfit on Monday afternoon after passing through the mandatory medicals successful

The youngster was an influential figure for the Black Meteors in the just ended Afcon U-23 tournament in Egypt scoring crucial goals for the side and helping them to finish fourth at the tournament as they failed to seal a spot at next year’s Olympics in Tokyo

Evans Mensah after putting pen on paper for the deal said: “It’s a very different environment to Helsinki, and it feels more relaxed here”

“I like this environment and a platform to do my very best. With hard work I can improve my skills and become a more better player”
