GPL: Asante Kotoko set to fly defender Ismail Abdul Ganiu out for surgery

Communications Director for Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has revealed the current injury situations of the Porcupine Warriors disclosing that defender Abdul Ganiu will be flown out to Germany for surgery on his knee

The injured defender recently cried out for help after going through severe pains and difficulties in walking following the knee injury sustained

However, the Public Relations Officer has revealed that plans are advanced with arrangements to fly out the defender abroad for the needed surgery

” We are preparing to take Abdul Ganiu to Germany for surgery” he said to Asempa FM

He added ” Maxwell Baako and Sogne Yacouba are also recovering from their respective injuries”

Kotoko have a busy schedule in the coming weeks as they play regional rivals Ashantigold in the BK Edusei Cup on Sunday before engaging arch rivals Hearts of Oak in the President’s Cup on September 8 and a concluding double header fixture in the Caf champions league against Tunisian outfit Etoile du Sahel
