USL Championship side, Phoenix Rising FC sign defender Kontor Owusu Ansah ahead of the new season

Phoenix Rising Football Club has announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Kontor Owusu Ansah ahead of the new USL Championship season

The former Asante Kotoko defender joined the club on a deal for the 2020 USL Championship campaign as the USL champions seek to strengthen their backline ahead of the new season

Kontor Owusu Ansah has recently been it fellow USL Championship side Orange County Football Club spending two seasons with the club and making 40 appearances in the process for the club playing a total of 3,171 minutes tallying two assists as well

He join compatriot Solomon Asante as the two Ghanaians now playing for the Arizona state club in the USL Championship
