The final funeral rites of Solomon Asante’s late dad, Mr. Christian Asante is set to take place on 7th of December 2019 at his home town Sefwi Wiawso

The deceased father of the winger passed away at the age of 80 later this year on 2nd May, 2019 after taking ill for a short time

He passed away in Sefwi Wiawso in the Western North Region and was buried on the 10th of May, 2019

The Phoenix Rising skipper has enjoyed the best season of his life in the 2019 USL Championship season as he was named the 2019 USL Championship Most Valuable Player of the campaign

Solomon Asante also grabbed the Golden Boot of the campaign with 22 goals just three goals short a single season goal tally with the highest tally of assists as well 17 throughout the campaign
