Ghanaian duo of Abubakari Kashaf and Wahidu Mumuni missed out on Cup glory with club Mogadishu City FC following their 2-3 defeat to Horseed SC in the grand finale of the General Da’ud Cup Competition

Both players started the encounter on the day for Mogadishu City FC with defender Abubakari Kashaf playing the entire duration of the match while compatriot midfielder Wahidu Mumuni went off with ten minutes to end proceedings on the day

Horseed SC took a two goal advantage into the first half of the match before adding the third in the second half of the match

League Champions, Mogadishu City FC pulled two goals back in the second half to end the game 3-2 in favor of underdogs Horseed SC

The defeat in the finals is the only defeat for Mogadishu City FC in the competition

The defeat also mean, the duo will have to wait much longer to get their first silverware with the club since joining them this summer
