USL, League One: Richard Danso scores as North Texas SC thrashed South Georgia Tormenta FC 5-0

Former Ghana U17 forward, Richard Danso was instrumental in his side’s 5-0 thrashing of South Georgia Tormenta FC in the USL League One

The hone side proved dominance over their opponents in the match as Bryan Reynolds opened the scoring in the 29th minute of the game before Richard Danso doubled the lead five minutes after the opener for his side

A brace from Ricardo Pepi in the 45th and 90th minute respectively and a further goal from Gibran Rayo sealed a comfortable victory for the home side

Richard Danso lasted 63 minutes on the pitch before was replaced by Gibran Rayo

The Ghanaian is on loan from Ghana premier league West African Football Academy till 31st December 2019

The victory is the club’s first largest win in the league and the most goals scored in a game by the club in history

North Texas SC sits on top of the table with 41 points after match day 22 in the USL League one. Next is a home clash with Toronto FC II on Sunday, September 1
