Head coach of the Black Stars, James Kwesi Appiah has named a strong starting line-up for the opening game of the 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifier against South Africa at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium

The line-up saw the inclusion of debutants Iddrisu Baba Mohammed and Gideon Mensah all starting for the Black Stars

Left back Gideon Mensah joins Andy Yiadom, Kasim Nuhu and Joseph Aidoo as the back line for the encounter with first choice goalkeeper Richard Ofori keeping his place in the team

The midfield four is made up of Iddrisu Baba Mohammed, Thomas Partey, Alfred Duncan and skipper Andre Dede Ayew

Jordan Ayew and Emmanuel Boateng will lead the attack for the Black Stars
