Captain for Premier League club Accra Hearts of Oak, Fatawu Mohammed has earned a late call-up to the senior national team Black Stars ahead of their double header encounters against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe this month

Fatawu Mohammed joins as a replace for defender Harrison Afful who has pulled out of the games due to injury

Fatawu Mohammed was part of Ghana’s contingent who won silver at the just ended WAFU Tournament in Senegal

He will link up with the squad ahead of the double header encounter over the week
