Afcon U23: Black Meteors to begin training this evening in Cairo

Ghana Black Meteors will commence training this evening in Cairo after arriving in Egypt on Monday evening

The team which consist of 19 playing contingents and technical members will hold their first training session ahead of preparations for their opening clash against Cameroon on Friday, November 8

Ghana is competing at the tournament for the first time and are hoping to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after 15 years absence from the competition

The team is boosted in camp with the arrival of Spanish based forward Kwabena Owusu who joined the team straight from his base in Spain while Abass Issah is expected to join the team later in place of Ropapa Mensah
