Ghana U20 national team, Black Satellites suffered their first defeat at the ongoing All Africa games losing narrowly to Senegal by a goal to nil
The Black Satellites were hoping to make it two in two after beating Burundi in their first game at the tournament to seal qualification to the next stage of the competition
Senegal netted early into the game through Ibrahima Diame at the Stade Boubker Ammar which was enough to earn them victory over their Ghanaian counterparts
Coach Yaw Preko’s side fought back into the game but failed to convert all the chances that came their way in the second department of the encounter
Other group opponents, Mali earlier in the day thrashed Burundi 3-0 to see them top the group. Senegal and Ghana follow respectively with Burundi bottom on the log
Black Satellites play Mali on Saturday 24th August in their final group game of the tournament
