Ghanaian forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu was on the score sheet for his side Trelleborgs FF in their 2-3 defeat at home against Jonkopings Sodra in the Swedish Superettan league on Saturday afternoon
The forward lasted the full duration of the contest as his goal couldn’t help his side to victory
The goal is Safiu’s fourth in eight matches since joining the club on loan from Asante Kotoko
Trelleborgs FF threw away a 2-1 first half lead to loss on the day at home
Jonkopings Sodra opened the scoring on the day through forward Jakob Orlov in the second minute of the match before Trelleborgs FF turned the contest in their favor with two goals before the break through Abdul Fatawu Safiu and Sebastian Ohlsson in the 29th and 38th minutes respectively
Sodra came from the break fired up for the occasion as they netted twice in a second half of the game to beat Trelleborgs FF with goals coming from Edin Hamidovic and Alexander Jallow in the 64th and 73rd minutes respectively
