Ghana: Asante Kotoko and midfielder Umar Bashiru part ways

Umar Bashiru has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with giants Asante Kotoko

The former WAFA midfielder has fallen out of favour after failing to break into first team since coach CK Akonnor left the Kumasi based club

He has been left out of Kotoko squad for their Caf champions league participation as he is deemed surplus to requirement at the club

The player and the club terminated his three year contract mutually

Umar Bashiru is now a free agent and free to sign with a club of his choice
