Ghana: Hat-trick Hero Shafiu Mumuni and three other team mates earn Black stars ‘B’ call up

Ashgold quartet have earned call ups to the Black stars ‘B’ squad ahead of the 2020 CHAN qualifier

Head coach Maxwell Konadu has invited the quartet from Ashantigold to strengthen his team

Captain Shafiu Mumuni whose hat-trick powered Ashantigold pass Akonamgui FC in the Caf confederation cup over the weekend earned a call up to the team

Midfield trio namely Appiah McCarthy, Abdul Latif Anabila and James Akaminko have all been invited to the team following their impressive display for Ashantigold

Earlier in the day, Asante Kotoko had five players invited into the team comprising of Richard Arthur, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Justice Blay, Emmanuel Gyamfi and skipper Felix Annan

The team have already commenced preparations for the double header qualifier against Burkina Faso in Kumasi

The team are scheduled to play Burkina Faso for a place in next year’s CHAN competition

The team is also expected to represent the nation in the upcoming WAFU competition in Senegal
