HOMOWO CUP: Rematch as Hearts and Olympics Plays A Barren Draw

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra great Olympics played out a 0-0 draw in this year’s Ga Homowo challenge Cup.

The Accra Sports Stadium was the venue as the two sides clash in a local derby that pretty much didn’t lived up to expectation.

A few chances were created by both sides but none were able to make it count.

Hearts of Oak looked disjointed as coach Kim Grant failed to put the jigsaw pieces all together in a game the Phobia fans were very high in expectations.

Accra Great Olympics on the other hand looked assured on the ball, establishing a game plan as they cut off off passing lanes of the Phobians. But failed in most part of the final third.

There’ll be a rematch in a week’s time at the Accra stadium to decide who’ll lift this year’s Homowo trophy.
