Tributes Pour in After Nigerian Striker Isaac Promise Death

Ex Nigerian international forward Isaac Promise has passed-on, aged 31.

He passed away on Wednesday evening but the cause of his death has not yet been revealed.

Promise captained Nigeria to a silver medal after losing to Argentina in the finals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Promise spent most of his playing career in the Turkey Süper League, playing for Trabzonspor, Antalalyadpor et al.

His former team mate Anton Ferdinand wrote on Instagram “I’m in shock. You were my roommate at Antalyaspor.

“RIP Isaac Promise. Rest well bro my prayers are with your family and friends at this time.”
