Both sides came to the fixture at the back of a 1-1 draw in the first leg weeks ago in Lebanon

A brace from Tunisian forward Taha Yassine Khenissi in the 21st and 80th minutes respectively sealed a 2-0 win for the home team

Nejmeh FC went down to ten men before first half of the match after goalkeeper Abass Hassan received a straight red card with four minutes to the break

Esperance de Tunis advance to the next round of the competition on a 3-1 aggregate win
