AFCON U-23: Black Meteors Drawn in A ‘Group of Death’

The draw for the 2019 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations was held at the Haramlek Palcae in the iconic Montaza Complex in Alexandria.

The draw saw the eight teams drawn into two groups of four.

The host Egypt were seeded in Group A (position 1), and the defending champions Nigeria were seeded Group B (position 2).

The remaining teams were allocated to posts based on the results of 2015 Afcon U-23 and were drawn to the remaining positions in their groups.
