Black Stars ‘B’ will begin their title defense against Gambia in the on-going WAFU tournament in Senegal

The tournament started on Saturday 28th September 2019

Ghana is the most successful nation to have won the competition twice in 2013 and 2017 and can have the title for keeps if they lift it for the third time this year

The team will be boosted with the return of players from Asante Kotoko and AhantiGold SC as players from the clubs will join the team following their prticipations in Caf Inter Club competitions

The Black Stars B will play Gambia at the Stade Lat Dior later in the day at 5:00pm

Defeat will see the Black Stars B exit the tournament per the competition rules as the first round is a knockout and winners will progress to the group stage
