ASANTE KOTOKO: Club To Use Accra Sports Stadium as Home Ground

Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC will play their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium as they try to make it into the group stages of the 2019/20 Caf Champions League.

The Baba Yara Stadium is set to undergo a major renovation and for that the Stadium needs to be closedown.

The Director-General of the NSA made the revelation in an interview with Happy fm in Accra:

“Kotoko might have to continue playing their African games in Accra over the closure of the BabaYara Sports Stadium for renovation. We are pushing for it to happen”

Ghana will be hosting the 2023 All African Games and there are plans to give a facelift to all the various major stadia in the country.
