GFA Presidency: Wa based division one club Wa Suntaa Sporting Club President backs Nana Yaw Amponsah for Ghana Football Association president
The President and Bankroller of Wa based Division One side, Wa Suntaa Sporting Club, Mr. Daud Arif has thrown his weight behind Nana Yaw Amponsah as he believes he is the right man to take Ghana football to the next level
Aspirant Yaw Nana Amponsah on Friday successfully submitted his nomination forms in bid to contest for the vacant Ghana Football Association presidency as he aims at leading Ghana Football for the next four years
In an interview with GNA Sports, the loud talking and young football administrator, Mr. Daud Arif was lighthearted about the chances of Nana Yaw Amponsah securing the most prestigious position of football in Ghana and believes in his philosophies to turn the destiny of Ghana football
”I believe he’s got what it takes to change the fortunes of Ghana football considering how he has branded himself over the past few years. The environment in which football was being operated was very frustrating over the past years but seeing someone like Amponsah aspiring for the President gives me hope for a brighter future for Ghana football
”I believe in his ideologies, and also what he stands for and so I believe he can work hard to take Ghana football to the next level,” the 28-year-old administrator said
Nana Yaw Amponsah will first have to pass through the vetting process set to begin on 26th September, 2019successfully before he can contest in the elections set for 25th October, 2019
