CEO of Wa Power SC Donates to Support Eye Surgery for Young Father

The Chief Executive Officer of Wa Power Sporting Club, Salifu Musah, has donated $100 to support the eye surgery of 24-year-old Jabir, a young father from Chagli in the Upper West Region.
The donation was made in response to an appeal aired on Home Radio’s “Changing Lives” programme, which aims to raise GH₵20,000 to fund Jabir’s surgery at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
Jabir, who has a wife and a child, lost his sight last year after traveling to Kumasi for construction work as a labourer. Since then, he has been hopeful that he can regain his sight and return to providing for his family.
Salifu Musah’s contribution is expected to encourage further donations from individuals and organizations to help reach the target amount needed for the surgery.
The management of Home Radio has expressed gratitude to Salifu Musah for his generosity and continues to call on well-meaning individuals to support the fundraising effort.
Anyone willing to donate towards Jabir’s surgery can do so through Home Radio’s “Changing Lives” initiative via MTN mobile money services on 0593425893
