Afcon U23: Black Meteors to know group opponents soon as Caf announces date for U23 Afcon draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the date for the draw for the upcoming U23 Afcon in Egypt

The draw is scheduled to take place on 3rd October, 2019 in Alexandria, Egypt

The competition will be competed by eight teams in two Groups

The U23 Afcon tournament also serves as the qualifiers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with the three top nations qualifying for the summer Olympics

The tournament will take place between the 8th and 22nd of November

The eight participating nations for the tournament are; Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Mali, and Zambia
