Former GPL Defender Joins Venda Football Academy In South Africa

Former Ghana premier league defender, Rashid Alhassan has joined South African club Venda Football Academy this summer

The tough tackling centre back has penned a two year contract with the South Africa Limpopo Venda side from Medeama Sporting Club

Rashid Alhassan spent last season on loan with with Tamale based club Real Tamale United FC where he played a crucial part in the club’s survival from relegation

He scored few crucial goals for the club to help push their survival in the top flight league

Rashid Alhassan has had stints with Wa AllStars FC ( Legon Cities FC) in the GPL, Elman Sporting Club in Somalia as well
