GUSA Cross Country 2022: Team AAMUSTED Arrive In Ho For Maiden Competition As They Are Set To Win Battle For Supremacy

Akenten Appiah Menka University of Skilks Training and Enterprenueral Development (AAMUSTED) Cross Country team have arrived at The University of Health and Allied Science (UHAS) in Ho for the 25th annual Ghana Universities Students’ Association (GUSA) Cross Country competition which comes off this weekend – September 13,2022.

The newly-looked AAMUSTED formerly of University of Education Winneba – Kumasi and Mampong Campuses , will now be participating in this year’s GUSA Cross Country event as a debutant university.

However; they have higher dreams of breaking the glass ceiling in their quest for national silverwares.

Meanwhile, for this sweet dream to come to fruition, team AAMUSTED, the Enterprenueral-Oriented University will have to compete vehemently with powerhouse universities like KNUST, UCC, UDS including UEW who produced last editions’ champion in the shape of Williams Amponsah, who represented Ghana in the just ended Commonwealth Games for the 10,000m and 5,000m respectively.

It’s evident that, it will take blood, sweat and tears for one to be a champion, but then, team AAMUSTED are incredibly poised to make history by etching their names with indelibe ink into the competition’s history books, and by extention hoisting high the flag of their new-named university.

All Ghanaian universities athletes will be racing in a 10km distance for fame and glory come this Saturday.
