Europe: Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan with an assist in Sassuolo away defeat against Roma

Black stars midfielder Alfred Duncan was phenomenal for Sassuolo in their 2-4 defeat to Roma over the weekend in the Italian top-flight league

The midfielder left the field with six minutes to end proceedings and assisted his side’s second goal of the match

Italian midfielder Byran Cristante opened the scoring for AS Roma in the 12th minute of the match before Eden Dzeko added the second in 19th minute to increase the tally for AS Roma

On loan singing Henrikh Mkhitaryan made it three for Roma to net his debut goal for the side in the 22nd minute before Justin Kluivert scored to make it 4-0 before first half of the match

Sassuolo fought back in the second half to reduce the deficit with a brace from Domenico Berardi as the game ended 4-2 in favor of AS Roma

Sassuolo sits 15th on the table after three matches with three points as they chase their first three points of the season. Next is a home clash against SPAL on Sunday, September 22
