Management of Wa Power SC pays Courtesy call on Chief & Elders of ‘Duori’ Community
Division II Football Club Wa Power SC made a visit on Saturday morning to the Chief and Elders of Duori Community in the Wa Municipality.
The visit was to appreciate the accommodation received by Wa Power SC over the years and to seek for more support when needed as the team fights for second tier Football.
Wa Power SC was established in 1998 in Duori and has since not forgotten their roots despite series of Managerial changes.
Speaking with Ghanafootballnews.com, PRO of the Club Jakpa Mustapha disclosed the discussions that took place.
“We presented the team to them and the chief and elders gladly accepted the team as their own.
* They requested that the team train here with the community rather than other places so they asked us to look at the Wa Catholic School park and presby, and select the one we want to use so we tell them.
After the meeting Coach and Technical Director JK Fosu went to visit the two parks.
* They also asked that one member from the elders will be part of the management team to keep them updated on happenings of the club and where there is the need for them to come in they will, being it financial or prayers.” He concluded.
Present at the occasion was the Team Manager, Technical director, Head Coach, Communication officer and other members of Management and playing body.
