Ghana U23 winger Joseph Paintsil suffered an injury in KRC Genk away defeat to Sporting Charleroi in the Belgian top-flight league on Friday

The defending champions suffered a 1-2 defeat to Sporting Charleroi at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi

The winger was replaced by debutant Theo Bongonda on the 43rd minute of the match following the injury he picked up

Joseph Paintsil returned straight to the starting line-up for KRC Genk after helping the Ghana U23 team to qualify for the 2019 CAF U23 Cup of Nations after eliminating Algeria on a 2-1 aggregate

KRC Genk are yet to reveal the extent of the injury suffered by the Ghanaian youngster
