Jeffrey Schlupp becomes the Ghanaian with most appearances in the Premier League

Jeffrey Schlupp has overtaken Michael Essien to become the Ghanaian with the most appearances in the English Premier League.

The Eagles midfielder achieved the feat in the game against relegated Sheffield United where he played the first 71 minutes.

Schlupp totals 169 appearances, scored 13 goals with 10 assists for Leicester City and Crystal Palace. He won the coveted trophy with the former in 2015/2016 season alongside Ghanaian compatriot Daniel Amartey.
