Pre- season Friendly: Wa United engages Tietaa FC

Wa United FC is set to host Tietaa FC in what promises to be a mammoth encounter at their favorite Jahan Park on Friday, 12th February, 2021.

The newly formed third tier club stormed the Upper West Region with series of friendly matches which serve as audition for players ahead of the next transfer window.

The black and White faithfuls announced their presence in the football world under Coach Aziz Kanduma John with 8-0 humbling of Busa Golden FC.

The highly rated tactician is expected to lead Wa United to another glory in a match that is expected to feature some of the quality players in the region.

The tactical nous of Aziz Kanduma John earned him the top job at the Jahan base club and he is expected to build a formidable side ahead of the 2020/21 division two season.

Wa United FC was awarded a division two status last year by the GFA after acquiring a business certificate from the Registrar General.

The objective of the club is geared towards developing young talents who have been deprived of quality coaching and opportunities.

The club is determined to maximize talents by providing a conducive environment for the up and coming to excel.

The club is expected to lead the way in the area of branding and marketing which has been a major problem facing clubs in the region.

The process will include unveiling of high profile and experience players with enormous quality to enable the club qualify for division one in the shortest possible time.
