Accra Great Olympics Appoints Yaw Preko As New Head Coach

Ghana premier league club Accra Great Olympics have confirmed the appointment of former national footballer Yaw Preko as their new head coach replacing indisposed Annor Walker

Coach Annor Walker has missed the club’s last two matches due to illness and hence the reason for his replacement at the club

Yaw Preko has had stints in the Ghana premier league with giants Hearts of Oak as an assistant and on caretaker role at some point before leaving the club

He has had stints in Nigeria as well with Ifeanyi Ubah in the Nigerian top flight league

He has worked with the national U-20 side as an assistant coach before been given the head coach at some point in his coaching career

He is expected to resume training with the club with immediate effect and will be in the dugout for their match day 9 encounter against Inter Allies FC
