Kosta Papic appointed Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak
Hearts of Oak board chairman chaired a meeting yesterday between himself, Odotei, Kosta Papic, Odoom and Asare Bediako.
The outcome is, Papic is the new head coach and director of football and will be assisted by Asare Bediako. Nii Odoom has been demoted to Auroras.
Kosta Papic is a former Hearts of Oak coach, he won the Ghana Premier League title with the Phobians during his time with them in 2008/09 season.
He was in attendance at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to watch Hearts of Oak’s loss to Inter Allies FC.
Papic is a Serbian and has vast experience on the African continent. He had stints in Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana in the past.
He became manager of the Eswatini national team in December 2018, and left the role in December 2019.
