Match Officials use new Communications gadgets on opening day of season
Match Officials used their newly acquired sets of communication gadgets on Day One of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The 10 sets of referee communication gadgets acquired by the GFA in May were put to use by match officials in the top flight league by Premier League referees the 10 match centres.
The equipment, manufactured by French outfit, Vokkero aided effective communication during the Matchday one games in the Ghanaian top flight.
These communication gadgets were used by all four match officials on Matchday 1 and their usage would continue on the remaining Matchdays.
The gadgets will also be used to officiate the other products of the GFA including the MTN FA Cup, the Women’s Premier League and some dicey games in the National Division One League.
The GFA has plans to, in a progressive manner, add to the stock of equipment to support the effective management of games and to ensure improvements in delivering of quality games.
