TRAGIC: Ghanaian Footballer Shot in South Africa

A Ghanaian Footballer who plies his trade in South Africa is reported being shot in the limbs.

The player whose name is only reported as Arthur was shot in both legs at close range rendering him incapacitated.

Foreign blacks are being subjected to various kinds of violence in SA by the natives in the past week. It is however not clear whether he was caught up in the xenophobic attacks.

With the help from the Ghana High Commission in South Africa Arthur was rushed to the hospital and is currently responding to treatment.
