Young winger Umar Sherifdeen Ganso is full of confidence ahead of the new football season for division one club Wa Suntaa Sporting Club

The pacey and skillful winger joined the Wa based division one club from lower tier side Wa Anokye FC

The season was his maiden season in the division one competition and he was outstanding in his debut campaign in the league

His performance for his side before the league was abandoned due to coronavirus earned him a national call up into the camp of the national U-20 side

“I am confident ahead of the new football season and hopeful the team can make great grades this season” said Sheriff

“I enjoyed every moment in the league last season before the unfortunate moments of coronavirus distracted the season”

With the restructuring and rebranding at Wa Suntaa SC ahead of the new football season, the young winger is optimistic of positive results both on and off the field for the club

“There are lot of changes at the club at the moment both technical and managerial and everyone is excited about the future of the club”

“Going to the national U-20 camp is the major highlights of my career despite not making the cut for the final team but is an opportunity I cherished the most and will thank all those who made it possible for me to get that far” he concluded
