Ghana Football Association Deputy General Secretary Resigns Ahead Of Imminent Appointment With Asante Kotoko
Emmanuel Newton filed in his resignationon Monday after a 10 years of service to the Ghana Football association.
It is widely believed he left the job to take up a new responsibility at Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
Dasoberi is extremely popular within the football circles for his competence and efficiency.
His decision to quit has come as a huge blow to the GFA.
Until his resignation, Dasoberi was the Club Licensing Manager of the Ghana Football Association.
He was the Administrator at the Football Association’s Technical Centre at Prampram, then to the Premier League Board and also worked as Secretary to the Disciplinary Committee and Appeals Committee of the GFA.
The 38-year old Football Administrator studied Sports and Event Management at the University of Witwatersrand and holds an MBA from the International Business Management Institute.
He has also undertaken various courses both locally and internationally with FIFA and CAF. He has been serving as a CAF Instructor for over three years now and has undertaken other assignments with CAF as an Inspector.
