SOCIAL MEDIA: Mikel Obi Trolled on Instagram for Posting a fake Quote

Super Eagles and Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel is trolled and mocked after he posted a fake quotation he misjudged was from a fellow player.

On social media you don’t always want to be the center of attention for the wrong reasons as you may trend all day or even beyond due to the vilifications.

Mikel posted a quote on Instagram he thought was from Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves not knowing its actually fake and was original posted by a Chelsea fan account on Twitter called @ThatMunichNight.

The message which read “Back in Porto we were given DVD’s of John Obi Mikel to take home and study everyday. We used to call him the professor of football” obviously depicts Mikel as a role model, no wonder he welcomed it by also writing alongside the fake quote “I’m honored”

Social media weirdos and over-the-hill critics made a whole meal out of it by trolling him massively as one of them queries “I hope you realize is a fake quote mate” and another said in a derogatory manner “Do you really that this quote is fake. Neves never said this”

Mikel Obi won three Premier League titles and also won the Champions League during his 11-years with the Blues.
