Africa: C.K Akunnor among list of coaches to be interviewed for the vacant Guinea National team coaching job

The former Asantigold and Asante Kotoko head coach C.K Akunnor has been shortlisted among numerous top class coaches to be interviewed for the vacant Syli Nationale team head coach


The position has remained vacant following the dismissal of former trainer Paul Put after their abysmal performance at the Afcon in Egypt exiting at the group stages of the tournament

Akunnor have had stints in the Ghana premier league with Dreams FC guiding them from division one to top-flight league of Ghana football, Accra Hearts of Oak, Ashantigold and recently Kumasi Asante Kotoko guiding them to the group stages of last season Caf Confederation Cup, President Cup triumph over arch rivals Hearts of Oak and recently the NC Special Competition tier 1 winners before parting ways with the Porcupine Warriors following his re assignment as Director of Football at the club

He has been jobless and could land hhimself a job should he successfully navigate through the interview process with the Guinea Football Federation

Among the list is Claudio Raneiri, Florent Ibenge, Paulo Duarte, Georges Leekens, Antoine Hey, Raoul Savoy among others all vying for the top job in Guinea
