2020 CHAN QUALIFIER: Anything Can Happen in Burkina – Maxwell Konadu

Ghana suffered a major lost to Burkina Faso in the first leg of the 2020 CHAN qualification at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The game was heading for a 0-0 draw until Burkina Faso broke the deadlock in the dying embers of the game and ended up winning by a lone goal.

It is obviously a tall order for the Black Stars B team but coach Maxwell Konadu is not throwing in the towel just yet. Ahead of the return leg he thinks it is a game of football and anything can happen.

“We still have another 90minutes and I strongly believe that anything can happen in Burkina Faso” We have a good team and can cause a surprise to any team on the continent”

The Stallions of Burkina Faso were the reason Black Stars B couldn’t qualify for the 2017 CHAN and may be confident in replicating such feat.
